TNA Impact thread
Hey, someone puts their money where there mouth is and actually writes a review after complaining about me not doing one. Good on ya!

Hey guys, this is Joel "Chrononaut" Geraghty. You might remember me from such posts as "Lodz316 writes interracial sex stories", "WWE SUX0RZ", and "Scott why don't you review TNA PPVs?". I decided to put my money where my mouth is, so to speak, and try my hand at putting together a weekly recap of TNA Impact for Scott to post. As I write this, I have no idea if he will. I haven't written a TV wrestling review since about 1995, when I did very brief recaps of WWF Superstars for a newsletter called "Mad Dog's Weekly Wrestling Roundup" or something like that on CompuServe (anybody remember them?), so bear with me. Constructive criticism is always appreciated, as are "YOU BLOW, SCOTT DON'T POST THIS ANYMORE" comments. With that out of the way, let's get to the show!

TNA iMPACT -- THURSDAY, JUNE 8, 2006

The show kicks off with a nice video package featuring highlights from last week's King Of The Mountain qualifying match that saw Jeff Jarrett pin Raven after the guitar and Larry Zbysko got involved, followed by hype for tonight's Scott Steiner vs. Sting qualifier. The Stinger and Big Poppa Pump both cut promos, reminding me of the old Saturday Night's Main Event show-opening promos, as Jeff Jarrett tells Steiner to finish the job on Sting. Steiner promises to take down "Showtime" and we go to the opening video.

King Of The Mountain Qualifying Match: Scott Steiner vs. Sting

Mike Tenay recaps the previous KOTM qualifying match-ups and fireworks pop before cameras backstage show Scott Steiner flexing on his way out, and the same is done for Sting before his entrance. I always liked that, it makes the match seem more important. Wow, they're starting off with this match. I figured they would hype it throughout the show. Tenay and Don West hype what a big match this is for TNA and explain the KOTM 'reverse ladder match' concept. For those who haven't seen the first two KOTM matches, I recommend checking out YouTube; I saw them on there and they're pretty cool, especially the second one. Steiner flexes and starts off strong with chops, but Sting quickly turns the tables and has Big Poppa Pump on his knees begging for a timeout within 30 seconds. Sting doesn't go for it and tosses him to the floor, where he hits Steiner with a chair and assaults him at the broadcast table. Sting dominates and they go back to the ring as Konnan and the Latin American Xchange are shown at the Spanish broadcast position; I like how TNA uses every second of airtime, getting over a relatively minor angle during a slow point in a big match like this. Steiner hits a back kick lowblow to take over as Impact goes to commercial. After the break, Steiner levels Sting with a stiff clothesline and his flexing elbowdrop for a one-count, but stops to do pushups. If I were Michael Cole, I'd call this "vintage Big Poppa Pump". Steiner plants Sting with a crisp belly-to-belly for two and locks him in a pretty good Crippler Crossface. I know I'm a TNA mark, but seriously, he has it applied pretty well and it's a far better choice for a resthold than a chinlock or sleeperhold. Sting refuses to submit and powers his way to his feet, but Steiner pounds him and dumps him with an overhead t-bone suplex before doing pushups again to disrespect his opponent. Steiner puts him on the top turnbuckle for a superplex, but Sting blocks it and bites Steiner, pushing him down to the mat. Sting lands a sweet flying clothesline and both guys slug it out until Sting gains the advantage and decks the Big Bad Booty Daddy with a clothesline, followed by a standing dropkick. How many 45-year-olds do you know who would even attempt a dropkick, let alone actually hit it? Steiner begs off again, but Sting has NO MERCY and bodyslams him to set him up for a Vaderbomb (pump splash?) which gets two. Inverted atomic drop sends Steiner scrambling to the corner, but when Sting rushes in for the Stinger Splash, referee Earl Hebner gets squashed too. I think we all know what's coming. Gail Kim jumps on Sting's back (THAT LUCKY BASTARD) and Sting, being the wonderful Christian man he is, dumps her on the mat. Really though, what else could he do? Jeff Jarrett rushes out and plants Sting with the Stroke, allowing Steiner to cover him, but Earl is still out. You'd think with all the bumps he's taken throughout his career, Earl might toughen up a bit; the guy's probably spent more time unconscious than anyone I've ever seen. My hero Slick Johnson runs in through Jarrett's legs (almost clipping Jarrett's ankle) to count the pin, but of course Sting kicks out. I still like Slick's "homage to the World Cup" referee shorts and socks. Steiner can't believe it and hits a vertical suplex, but when he goes for another one Three-Amigos-in-slow-motion style, Sting floats over his shoulder and crushes him with the Scorpion Deathdrop. Slick counts two, but Jarrett pulls him out to the floor and punches him before hopping up on the apron and grabbing Sting. As anyone who's ever watched wrestling knows, this brilliant plan backfires and Steiner accidentally nails Jarrett with a right hand. Sting slowly rolls Steiner up from behind and Earl awakens in time to make his classic slow count, but Jarrett breaks up the pin and Hebner calls for the bell, disqualifying Freakzilla.

After the bell, Jarrett & Steiner try to double-clothesline Sting, but he ducks and knocks them out of the ring with a double-clothesline of his own. However, they return and assault him as West and Tenay praise Hebner for his "gutsy call" of the DQ for outside interference; yeah, what a crazy idea. Ron "The Truth" Killings makes the save, even hitting the Axe Kick on Abyss when he runs in. Jarrett blindsides Truth and the heels pound the faces until Christian Cage runs in and cleans house, standing tall with Sting and Truth. Meanwhile, Steiner freaks out over his loss and does his best Ahmed Johnson impersonation, mumbling that the show stops now and daring anybody to come out. Christy Hemme then informs us that Samoa Joe is due up next as we go to commercial. Uh oh.

After a Slammiversary ad, Scott Steiner is still in the ring and threatens Chasyn Rance(?) not to step in for his match against Samoa Joe, who makes his way out and gets in Steiner's face. Big Poppa Pump warns Joe not to eyeball him and piefaces him, but Joe continues with the eyeballing and Steiner piefaces him again. They brawl as an army of guys in Security t-shirts flood out and try to pull them apart. The crowd chants for Joe and this match is fucking money.

A pretty funny Paparazzi Productions video featuring Kevin Nash and Alex Shelley airs next as they talk about Chris Sabin. Whoever came up with Big Kev's "3 Keys To Life" chart deserves a raise, that's funny stuff. Nash asks Shelley to find him a Sabin-like opponent for next week and hypes "the X Division debut of KEVIN NASH vs. X Division Star" (with a little star drawn beside the word "Star") in a "Size Matters on a pole" match, ONLY on SpikeTV! Shelley likes the cut of Nash's jib and utters a Joey Lawrence style "whoa". These two are gold together.

Following a commercial break, Jeremy Borash asks Larry Zbysko about signing a match at Slammiversary between Scott Steiner and Samoa Joe, but the Living Legend claims that they need time to put these things together. Slick Johnson arrives on the scene and informs Larry that the New Face of TNA Management will have a decision on the Joe/Steiner match by the end of the hour.

Sonjay Dutt vs. Jerrelle Clark

Konnan joins Tenay and West on commentary to complain about how much better they have it than the Spanish announcers do. Nice athletic match between Dutt and Clark, but it's mostly a backdrop for Konnan to accuse TNA of racism against Latinos and claim that the X Division is ripping off Lucha Libre. Konnan points out that the six-sided ring originated in Mexico's AAA but calls it an "octagon", and Don West correctly informs him that it's a hexagon. Konnan has no comeback for that. Man, when Don West is correcting you, maybe it's time to go back to the Spanish table. They discuss the makeshift border around the Spanish announce table (I love that) and Tenay points to Dutt as a great example of someone of non-caucasian descent who earned his spot. Konnan trashes Dutt and calls him an Uncle Tom. I smell a feud between Sonjay and Homicide. As for the match, Sonjay avoids Jerrelle's 630 splash and lands a sweet standing shooting star press for the 1-2-3. Konnan challenges Tenay to cross the border and tells him to bring the fans, recliners, and assistant producers with him because he and Moody Jack Melendez don't have none of that over there.

After the break, Team 3D are shown in South Philly, PA, and compare the ECW Arena to the Impact Zone, as they both have wildly passionate wrestling fans. I think this, combined with their anti-ECWWE promo last week, is a great way to trash the ECWWE project while still praising the fans and wrestlers of the old ECW and trying to convert them to TNA. The video ends with a cool visual of "3D" in flames.

Six-Man Tag Team Match: Team Canada (Bobby Roode & Eric Young & A1) vs. Chris Sabin & The James Gang

Scott D'Amore is wearing a sweatsuit and doing jumping jacks to get in shape for the handicap match against Rhino at Slammiversary, but tries to sneak a Twinkie only to have Roode knock it out of his hands and remind him that he's supposed to be in "intensive training". That's a creative and funny way to hype what seems like the least important match on the card. B.G. helps put Sabin over a bit by saying "Hail Sabin... Hell yeah!" during his intro, then craps on the "bingo hall" and promises to make Team 3D famous. Kip is a male bimbo as usual, but I like their new "Nobody moves, nobody gets hurt" catchphrase because it fits with the team name and their history as Outlaws. B.G. takes over early on and tags out to Kip, who cleans house on all three Team Canada members before tagging Sabin. Kevin Nash and Alex Shelley rise up on a platform lift behind the crowd to scout Sabin, who stomps Eric Young's foot and hops around holding his own foot to mock him before unleashing a pair of armdrags. Sabin gets distracted by Nash & Shelley (or as I like to call them in the spirit of celebrity couples like Brangelina: Nashelley), allowing Team Canada to take the advantage as we cut to commercial. Team Canada work Sabin over as Nashelley discuss the action and film it with Alex's camera. They do the 'false tag' bit with Sabin and B.G., but of course the ref didn't see it and forces B.G. out of the ring while the Canadians gangrape Sabin in the corner. Sabin tries to mount the comeback, but Roode cuts him off and Team Canada continues to work him over while Nashelley snickers. Great flying elbowdrop by Young, but Kip makes the save and Canada pours on the punishment. Sabin is playing a perfect Ricky Morton here, but I really hope Sabin is going over at Slammiversary or he's really going to look weak. Sabin hits Young with a spinkick to the gut and both men make tags, bringing in Kip to clean house again on the three Canadians. Kip squashes Roode & A1 with Stinger Splashes after dumping Young to the floor, allowing Sabin to dive through the ropes and nail Showtime with a sweet plancha. Meanwhile, chaos reigns as Roode drops Kip with a nice Stunner and catches the hockey stick while the ref is distracted, but before he can use it, Rhino charges in and unloads on the Canadian Enforcer. Rhino and Roode fight on the floor while Kip plants A1 with the Famouser, then tags Sabin, who lands a beautiful guillotine legdrop from the top on A1 for the three-count. B.G. & Kip crotch-chop in the direction of Nashelley, who look unimpressed as they lower the platform back down to...wherever they came from. I wonder if that's where ECWWE found Gangrel. James Gang celebrate with Sabin as West puts Sabin over as a guy willing to sacrifice his own body for a victory.

Christy Hemme makes her way out to everyone's surprise and does the splits on the apron. I have no problem with that whatsoever. She struts over to the announce table and pulls an envelope out of her boot, handing it to West. I know everybody hates this guy, but I love his reactions and facial expressions. He opens the envelope and climbs up on the set to announce that Samoa Joe will indeed take on Scott Steiner at Slammiversary. West high-fives Tenay, who then pumps his fist in joy. This has to be seen to be believed. Two of the most uncool guys on the planet freaking out over this announcement... it's like the A/V Club having a pizza party or something. It is truly a sight to behold, but it puts over the importance of the match as they made it sound like a huge blockbuster deal.

Things finish with the usual video recap of the show set to the "Adrenaline Rush" theme and confirms the participants are set for the King Of The Mountain match.

Another solid show in my opinion as a TNA mark, with the Joe/Steiner faceoff the highlight of the hour, Sting/Steiner being better than it had any right to be due to both guys bringing their working boots, and another funny Nashelley segment. And that, folks, is your TNA Verbal Blowjob of the Week. Of course, as always, your mileage may vary. Thanks Scott, and hopefully see you all next week.

Anyone think this will draw a 3.1 like ECW v WWE did the night before? TNA needs more Olympic Gold Medalists and people that competed for World Titles at WM, then they'd have more crediblity than ECW.

All in all sounded like a good show, I'm really intrigued to see how Joe works with someone his own size and anything that involves Christy Hemme can't be all bad. If they have more matches and less squashes, also a very good thing.

That's a long review for a show that is only one hour long.

I forgot TNA was on. I knew there was a show on I meant to watch. Did watch Smackdown. It was okay.

On Smackdown...

Some people are complaining SD is forgotten. The story I hear is WWE knows it'll be a tough summer for SD with network switches, injuries, baseball pre-emps. They want ECW to work (more DVD sales), and only have the summer to make it a success. So why not move guys off SD.

I like its current headliners! Fighting Finlay and King Booker are the best things to happen to that brand in awhile. I'm not a UT fan, so not having him on TV is fine. Having him off in feuds against a guy like Khali is fine. Not a fan of Orton. Off the show -- great! I will miss Tazz not doing color though.

I'm hoping the wrestling style of ECW for the veterans will be a mix of mat wrestling and garbage wrestling. I'm not much of a garbage wrestling fan, but I know both are an easier style than the WWE style, high impact style and spotfest. A longer career for guys like Angle is a good thing in my books. And this notion of WWE stars getting less pay I highly doubt. I have a hunch Angle and Bigshow will be given a bonus to cover any income lost, since they're being used to anchor the new brand.

Um, look at the shape of most of the ECW guys -- there's no way that's easier on their bodies. Those guys kill themselves out there! Look at Sabu -- high impact, spotfests. RVD. Super Crazy. It's insane what they go through in ECW -- I'm shocked they'd put ANgle, with his injury past, into a situation like that, actually.

Dutt Vs Clark was the highlight of the show, but the Xdivision always is.

I could really do without drawn-out Sting/Steiner matches and the like; I may be wrong, but I can't imagine that's where their money really lies. I think they have so much more going on with the guys that are young and didn't feature prominently in WCW 10 years ago.

The young guys need the rub from the older stars to be more effective. When Samoa Joe chokes out Scott Steiner, that's going to be huge and will mean more than Joe choking out TNA's 'homegrown' guys like AJ and Daniels.

Good recap. I think some recaps get bogged down in trying to be too funny and I appreciate that you didn't try to force anything.

I'm a big TNA fan, but the announcing is just so horrible. I don't know what they're trying to get across with the way West and Tenay act, but it comes across as so amateur. You're correct about having to see the celebration at the end to believe it. It is truly embarrassing.

Joe is over huge. I think his match quality is going to obviously suffer, but he better beat Steiner. I wouldn't have him lose until a feud with Christian...and then I would do a double-turn with them.

Glad we have the recap.

TNA has fallen hard and fast since their PPVs were must-sees and putting out MOTYCs on a regular basis the second half of last year. Since then they've cut back on the top indy talent, brought in more washed up names who can't get it done in the ring, but apparently THIS IS AWESOME!

This show was a perfect example of that.

I missed most of SD, but Michelle McCool is back!! Sure she cut a really creepy promo, but I'd be more than happy and able to give her what she needs. Throw in Ashley, Jillian and Kristal and that may have been the hottest bikini contest ever. The Miz only mildly gets on my nerves, no worse than Cole. The Regal/Lashley match was pretty good. Mark Henry squashes are never fun. I missed most of the Finlay/Misterio match, was it any good?

Wow, you're my opposite. i think all the Smackdown girls [but for Ashley] are hags. They're terrifying -- way too thin, with really kind of weird faces. Leave me a willing Trish and Mickie, and they won't be able to walk after I'm done with them. ^_^

Kendrick/Super Crazy was great. Wish I had taped it for my boyfriend, who's not home right now, because he'd have liked that match and stopped making fun of me for having a sumb crush on Brian Kendrick.

The rest of the show, though, lost me.

"The Miz" makes me want to lock him in a cage with John Cena and five hungry lions.

I didn't see the main event; I probably should have, but I was so sick of SmackDown by that point, they could have paraded out CM Punk to introduce AJ Styles vs RVD, and I'd have missed it.

Broham, I don't watch TNA, in fact I don't even watch WWE aside from the occasional DVD, and in fact I haven't even had cable in six years...

But all that said, I just read through your recap anyway for the hell of it, and it was engaging and knowledgeable, and it also managed to be opinionated without being irritatingly bitchy and smarky like too many recappers (I don't include Scott in that category 'cause in his case that's a large part of the appeal.)

Yours is a refreshingly solid, competent voice, and for what its worth from someone who will likely never see the product you cover, I think Scott should keep you on.

Maybe I forgot, since it was a year ago, but why did WWE get rid of The Dudley Boyz? I do remember reading that they claimed to have been planning the new ECW brand since last summer, so if that is true, why let ECW's most successful tag team go to TNA?

I sent it in Friday afternoon. I watched the original airing and taped it as always, since it's hard to watch with both my buddy and my girlfriend over. Then I watched the tape today while writing the recap, with gratuitous use of the pause button. It took me roughly two hours (minus interruptions like the phone, people at the door, etc.) altogether, so I probably won't do a lot of play-by-play in the future, unless that's something that is really important to readers.

I really gained a lot of respect for other recappers while doing this. It is a lot harder than it looks, especially if you're not a superfast typer (typist?). I can see why Scott stopped doing RAW when he lost interest. If I didn't love TNA as much as I do, there's no way I could do it.

TNA had a house show tonight at the New Alhambaramanamasamacon Arena tonight in Philly, and here's how it ended:

7) In an X-Division title match, Samoa Joe successfully retained the title, beating AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels after making Styles tap to the choke. All three men were very over with the crowd, and had a good match, though a step below their classic from last year. The finish was kind of sudden.

After the match, America's Most Wanted came to the ring and beat down on both Styles and Daniels. They then reiterated their challenge to a Philadelphia street fight to any tag team, severely hinting it would be Team 3-D. The lights went out and into the ring came...the James Gang. BG James then did a promo running down Team 3-D and the fans, until Team 3-D came on the TNAtron (?). They insulted both teams with drug references and Brokeback Mountain references, teasing not being there, until they came in from the side entrance. They then continued their micwork running down the teams, albeit in a more profane way than before, before they started what was either a three way dance or a four-on-two handicap match.

The match went all over the building, with one member of AMW and one member of the James Gang double-teaming one member of 3-D, and the same going on the other side. It was hard to see, but the action did spill out of the building at one point. Brother Ray then hit the ring, and called for fans to throw chairs at the ring. Once they began doing so, Kip James ran right out of there, as did AMW, and eventually BG James, leaving Team 3-D as the only ones in the ring. After the fans were told to stop, one more chair hit Brother Ray (and he did not look too happy about that), and BG James came out and told the fans that they had a great finish planned, but that they werent' going to get it, and "Fuck you."

Team 3-D then did some mastubatory mic work putting over the fans and Styles and Daniels, and then Brother Runt came out to rip up his One Night Stand contract, and that was that. Kind of a lackluster way for the show to end, to be kind.

I wish I could make this up. I'd like to thank the professionals at TNA for making my point for me mere hours after posting here. This REALLY is awe-some!

Good job Joel. You could definitely shorten it a little bit. I don't know what you would cut but it was kinda hard to read being that it looks like one big pile of letters (see 4th paragraph). Maybe more paragraph breaks? Some bold letters highlighting matches? I don't know.

Got back from TNA Hardcore War at the ECW Arena Pt. 1
[info]nucleobomz
2006-06-10 09:32 am UTC (link)
The show was great overall and the Philly & New York fans really made the show special. The silver section (which I sat in) did not sell out, but it was a big red hot crowd.

Before the show started at 8, Borash introduced Christy Hemme to hyp up the crowd, and Hat Guy along with this Hawaiian Shirt sidekick, got a nice ovation from the crowd.

Simon Diamond/Sharkboy: Simon was one of the first ECW alumnist to receive a "Welcome Back" chant, and when the crowd chanted "ECW", he got on the mic and shit on the fans & the promotion they were chanting. A decent matchup, which ended up with Sharkboy winning with the Diamond Dust.

Lethal/Dutt: a good fast paced matchup with the expected dueling chants, and a alot of crisp moves executed, as Lethal won with the release dragon suplex.

Abyss/Spike: Spike received a great response from the crowd, getting chants such as "Spike", "LSD" & "You're a Dudley", where the last chant, he did the spaztic waving with the hand at the crowd for ol' times sakes. This was also a good match, in which we got to see Abyss gorilla press Spike & throw him into the crowd (ala Bam Bam). Also, there was a table spot where Abyss was laying on the outside and Spike was on the top rope and landed on Abyss with both his feet, in which he bounced on the table (didn't break at all) and almost went into the crowd. Abyss brought in the tacks and finished off Spike with the Black Hole Slam. Spike took the tack bump to the face like a man, and bled pretty good.

Gail Kim/Traci Brooks w/ Christy Hemme as the special ref: a typical women's match (not mindblowing) with both women working hard to please the smart crowd. The finish was Traci with the rollup pin on Gail.

Jeff Jarrett/Rhino w/ Earl Hebner as the ref: Talk about the heat before the match even started. Hebner of course got his "You Screwed Bret" chant, and even did the suck it crotch chop to the fans. As for Jarrett. he got his ass booed from the building. Negative chants such as "Fuck You Jarrett" got him to shit on ECW, the fans, and his opponent for likely signing for the revival. However, Rhino came out to receive a big welcome back from the faithful, and said that he might be in his last month with the company. While the match was starting, Hebner was jawing with the fans, and took the mic to curse out the crowd, which then the crowd responded back with "You Got Fired". Then the funny part came when Rhino took his mic and said "They fired my fuckin' ass too" (which got a nice chuckle from the crowd) and he high-fived Hebner. The match came off entertaining, alot of heat on JJ, and then a mixed response from Rhino (because of his decision) and both men took it to the crowd during the brawl. In the end, Rhino won with the gore and announced that he indeed was contacted by the WWE to sign for the revival; however, he said as much as he loved Heyman & Dreamer, he knows that they are not the ones who are really running the brand, and that he would rather stay at a company with many young stars who could bring TNA as a serious competition to the WWE. Crowd ate that segment up.

Jerry Lynn/Petey Williams: A good ovation for the "New Fuckin Show", which was also a chant. Good matchup between both individuals, as Lynn seemed to gel well with Petey. Petey wins it with the Canadian Destroyer.

The Main Event-Samoa Joe/AJ Styles/Christopher Daniels: Everyone loved all three guys, as Joe seemed to be the real fan favorite in Philly. It was definitely the match of the night (heat, workrate), and all of them were on target with their spots. Joe's stiff kicks got AJ to bleed a little from the mouth, and won a squatting rear naked choke on AJ.

Got back from the Arena Pt. 2
[info]nucleobomz
2006-06-10 09:33 am UTC (link)

After that match ended, AMW ran in and beat on Styles and Daniels, and then took the mic to talk smack at the crowd and ran down ECW. A "brokeback mountain" chant broke out of course, and then the lights went out, where the James Gang got in the ring (to a chorus of boos) and ran down everyone and the Dudleys. The Dudleys appeared on the screen to defend their turf and said that they weren't there, but a minute later showed up from the crowd and ran down both tag teams, which started an impromptu triple-threat match. All three men wrestled all over the place, and then the highlight of the night, Buh Buh was in the ring and asked for a chair (which prompted the fans to start throwing metal chairs in the ring). There were over 30 chairs in the ring, and it hit all of the wrestlers, in which the two hated tag teams left in disgust and the Duds clapping at the fans for remaining hardcore. The match was a no contest and the Duds received a "Dudleys" chant. After the match, the Duds ragged on both tag teams for being pussies, and Buh Buh & D-Von were jawing with a fan (like ol' times) and tried to provoke him for a fight. A couple of minutes later, the Duds thanked the fans for their support and asked for Styles/Daniels to come down to the ring and told them that they came to TNA to wrestle where all the young stars make their name, and pretty much passed the torch to Styles/Daniels as the next tag champs of the future. Duds also invited Spike to the ring (they called him Spike, not Runt) and gave him the mic, which he said that he was offered a contract by Vince to appear at One Night Stand and the revival. He asked the crowd if he should sell his soul and sign it. The response was mixed, as he said that "I would not work for fucking the WWFE, whatever they fucking call it, and not sign the contract, so fuck you Vince and fuck you Heyman!" as he rips up the contract, which got a great response from the crowd.

The show ended at 11:20pm, but judging by the response of the crowd, the majority of the people who chanted "ECW" are definitely closet ECW brand, as they chanted for those three letters more times than "TNA". Overall, TNA came out as a real winner and would definitely fit well for the Northeastern tours (as it would make a good show for NYC)

Thumbs Up for this event.

Well, I sat through most of Impact, alright show.

The Sting/Steiner match was solid until the last few minutes, when the ending really dropped it down.

Christy every segment gets an instant up from me.

The Christian part of the brawl was well booked and excellently put over by the announcers.

Nice setup for Joe-Steiner. We'll see if the match can deliver.

Nash+Shelley=gold. I liked the "Only on Spike TV" section, Kevin Nash in the X-Division will be way more fun than that Joe guy.

I missed parts of the Dutt match because I don't really care about either guy and you throw in Konnan on commentary and it was off to SNL.

I missed the entire Dudley segment because it looked like trash.

6 man tag was same old same old, kind of cool for BG to let Sabin have the pinb and taunt Nash.

Did they edit the announcers celebration of Joe/Steiner? It didn't look all that bad, just normal reaction to a Scott Steiner TNA match.

I like Nashley better, good enough show, we'll see how long I can keep watching this.
